Blocking analysis of dynamic lightpath establishment in wavelength-routed networks

چکیده

Abstract-In this paper, we analyze the blocking probability of dynamic lightpath establishment in wavelength-routed networks. By using the destination-initiated reservation (DIR) method as a case study, we analyze traffic blocking occurring due to insufficient network capacity as well as traffic blocking caused by outdated information. Simulation results show the proposed models to be highly accurate.
